StartingBloc educates, inspires and connects emerging leaders to drive social innovation across sectors.

As StartingBloc Fellows ascend to positions of influence, they will use the StartingBloc network to launch innovative organizations, guide policies and spearhead cross-sector partnerships that tackle social, economic and environmental challenges around the world.

StartingBloc Fellows are diverse academically, professionally, and culturally. All Fellows are or have been in a leadership position at their schools or work places.

Academic disciplines among Fellows in the 2007 London Institute, for example, ranged from Aeronautics to Accounting, from Fashion to Finance and from Molecular Biology to Management. In total they represent 75 universities, 41 academic disciplines, 25 countries, and 47 languages. 33% of Fellows were demographically underrepresented minorities, 61% were minorities, and 56% were women. The average GPA was 3.55.
